What is the TouriSafe PL? The TouriSafe PL is a new development consisting of a safe that is locked by the use of a padlock. It was especially designed by Intelok North America for college residence halls, military establishments, sports and recreational facilities and any property where it is convenient that the safe user provides his/her own padlock. The safe uses a hasp that protrudes through the safe's door when closed. A regular padlock can then be hooked through the hasp to lock the safe. The concept of this system is to offer properties an economical safe that can be locked with the use of an ordinary padlock. There's an almost infinite variety of padlocks in the market using keys or combinations. Combination padlocks come in handy as users won't be required to carry keys that can get lost or stolen. Some combination padlocks have master key control capabilities allowing administration or security to override the lock in case of an emergency. Intelok offers padlocks made by Master Lock, perhaps the largest padlock manufacturer in the world. Master Lock has a large assortment of key and combination padlocks.
